In honor of Black Philanthropy Month, which is recognized annually in August, TSOP Michigan, will provide 10 microgrants to Black Philanthropy Month celebrations, nonprofit organizations, and block clubs in the Metro Detroit area. Some of the recipients include: Umoja Debate Network – $2,500 Steen Foundation – $2,500 Soul and Harmony Community Film Screening in partnership with PMG – $3,500 Black Philanthropy Month Celebration at BasBlue in partnership with the Michigan Forum of African Americans in Philanthropy and Council of Michigan Foundations – $2,500
