Hempitecture manufactures hemp fiber to create its carbon-negative building products. The company produces thousands of square feet of natural fiber insulation daily.
Hempitecture was officially founded in 2018. In 2023, the company opened the first industrial hemp manufacturing plant in the United States and has been doubling its revenue on a year-over-year basis. Some of the keys to Hempitecure’s growth include increasing its presence online, onshoring its manufacturing process, and being innovative.
“We’re continually innovating new products. Hempitecture built our manufacturing facility with a focus really on producing one specific product, Hempwool batt insulation. But today we’re producing a number of different products,” CEO Matthew Mead said “… I think Hempitecture positions themselves as a company that is continuing to remain on the forefront of a really important and emerging sector of bio-based, carbon-negative building products.”
