CHARLOTTE — Chipotle Mexican Grill Inc.’s footprint could be expanding to northwest Charlotte, according to city filings.
The California-based chain is named in a land development construction plan for 4015 Corning Place. That site is part of Riverbend Village Shops — and formerly home to Good Wurst Co., which shuttered last June.
A project description in the filing describes plans for “Chipotle-Mountain Island Lake.” It calls for the remodel of an existing restaurant. The scope of work will include demolition of existing and interior walls.
