SEASIDE, Ore. (KPTV)—Since Tuesday evening, the small beach town of Seaside has been without power. According to Pacific Power, four outages have occurred due to a downed line, affecting 8,426 customers.
“I came into town this morning thinking, oh I’ll go to work early, get some coffee, get some breakfast and Highway 101 was flooded and no power in Seaside all day,” said John Lende.
Lende lives a few miles outside of Seaside and just got home from vacation in Texas on Tuesday. When he got home, he told FOX he saw flooded roads, downed trees, and no lights.
