TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – The Feztival of Trees event is happening soon. The Zorah Shrine hosts it every year.
Visitors will get to walk through a forest of over 90 Christmas trees sponsored by local businesses.
There will be a raffle for each tree, which winners get to take home along with any prizes next to it. One tree this year has a full set of kitchen appliances with it.
“Parents will give [their kids] some money for tickets, and they’ll go around for two hours trying to figure out what they’re going to put their tickets in to try to win,” said Brad Bole, Assistant Rabban at the Terre Haute Zorah Shrine.
At the event, kids can also get a free picture with Santa, decorate cookies, make an ornament, and more.
