Single mother asking for more help after fire destroys home [Video]

SAN ANTONIO — Luckily, Megan Denson, single mother of 3, was at work and her youngest daughter was at a birthday party when the fire erupted Sunday, October 29. The fire took place at the intersection of Mabelle Drive and North Weider Road. Now she has no choice but to start at square one, picking up pieces of her life.

“It sucks, you literally have to just scrape everything off the floor,” Denson said. “I cried so hard when I came and saw it. It’s just that our whole lives were in it. Everything was in it.”

Denson received a call from her landlord as neighbors called 911.
