On the corner of Ship Creek Avenue in downtown Anchorage, Alaska Theatre of Youth is working hard to clear their warehouse.
“ATY has stored its costumes, sets, props and history. Lots of things are stored here. We’ve been here for about a decade,” says Christine Cooke, executive director of Alaska Theatre of Youth.
Now everything inside, must go, from filing cabinets and benches to a wooden well prop.
“This is our last weekend to get out of this space,” says Cooke.
They must be out of the warehouse by October 1st.
“We have most of the things out that we’re keeping. But anything else that we leave is open to the public,’ said Cooke.
Alaska Theatre of Youth have plenty of items for people to take from house props to a variety of woods.
Alaska Theatre of Youth is moving to a new space off of Fireweed Lane.
