NEW YORK — Yankees right-hander Luis Gil had a chance to bounce back from two sloppy innings as he took the mound for the top of the fourth on Tuesday night against the Guardians.
Instead, he gave up a booming home run, continued to struggle with command, made a bizarre mental error on the mound and then left the game with an apparent injury.
