NOPD originally announced lane closures on the HOV beginning 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
NEW ORLEANS — Hours after finishing barricade removal on the east- and westbound HOV lanes over the Crescent City Connection, the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development issued a traffic advisory regarding further barricade removal on the CCC’s Westbound Bridge (US 90B) starting Thursday night.
Double-lane closures are expected to continue over the next two nights running from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m.
A single-lane closure will go into effect on Friday between 4 a.m. and 7 p.m. before it returns to a double-lane closure.

Thursday, August 29: 7 p.m. – 4 a.m.:
- DOUBLE LANE CLOSURE (left two lanes) of the US 90B CCC WB Bridge to remove the concrete barriers. The two right lanes will be open for traffic.
Friday, August 30: 4 a.m. – 7 p.m.:
- SINGLE LANE CLOSURE (left lane) of the US 90B CCC WB Bridge. The three right lanes will be open for traffic.
