Tesco’s tear jerker Christmas ad has just dropped [Video]

The first of the Christmas ads has landed from Tesco which has gone with a moving theme of ‘Helping Feed Your Christmas Spirit’.

The ad which has just begun to air on Irish TV in recent days combines a mixture of magic and family.

The emotional one minute promo is centred around a wholesome message of togetherness, joy, home, food, and reconnecting with loved ones.

The star of the ad is Conor, who visits his grandfather after what it seems is the recent passing of his grandmother.

As Conor goes to leave his grandparent’s house everything changes when his grandfather gives him a pack of Tesco gingerbread men.

The local market square transforms into a magical gingerbread landscape, complete with a Nollaig Shona Duit board and buskers playing gingerbread instruments.

It is then Conor thinks of a brilliant way to rekindle the memory of his grandmother.

He decides to bring back a cherished family tradition of building a gingerbread house – something …
