ARLINGTON, Va. — A collective effort has turned an unsettling situation into a learning experience in Arlington, Virginia. Several months ago, WUSA9 first reported about Matthew Henshaw who kept ripping down pride flags outside a couple’s home.
The charges against the man accused of ripping down pride flags have been dropped. Henshaw, a soldier based in Fort Myers was arrested after he was accused of ripping down the pride flags being flown outside the home of Jenna Burnett and Michelle Logan, several times.
This started in September of 2023 and continued into January. Henshaw and another man were arrested but never went to trial. According to defense attorney the victims and Henshaw came to an agreement that he would participate in the Heart of Safety Restorative Justice Conferencing Program for …
