ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Metropolitan Police briefly stopped working as they paid their respects to Officer David Lee during a procession that passed by police headquarters Wednesday.
Patrol cars and motorcycles escorted Lee on an eight-mile trip from the medical examiner’s office to the funeral home, where he will stay until next week’s funeral services.
There will be a procession on the day of the funeral that is open to the public on Oct. 5.
