NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – People who live along Nolensville Pike said they’re scared every day when construction crews show up to work on widening the road.
They’ve had a lot of issues since the project started and now trees are falling on cars and homes.
TDOT said the project is needed with the area’s rapid growth. It includes adding two lanes in each direction, a center turn lane and sidewalks from Burkitt Road to Old Hickory Boulevard.
Johnnie Luken was excited for the changes until they started to impact her neighbors. She said property has been damaged by falling trees and branches are being stacked up in yards.
