Roxanne’s Pizza and Pub hosting events to revitalize downtown Auburn [Video]

AUBURN, Ky. (WBKO) – Tomorrow night, Roxanne’s Pizza and Pub in Auburn will be hosting the first of their monthly Drip & Sip events. The goal is to bring community attention and shine a spotlight on local businesses.

“The idea is to bring downtown Auburn back to life,” said Brian Preston, Owner of Roxanne’s. “I like supporting as much local as I can. We all need to support our neighbors.”

Bringing more visitors to the town is the first step in a plan to revitalize the city.

“We’re 15 minutes from Bowling Green, we’re 10 minutes from Russellville. It takes you less time to drive to Auburn than it does down Scottsville Road and it’s all local,” he said.

Guiding participants through this inaugural event will be Kris Preston, owner of Bohannon’s Mercantile on Main. She will be guiding attendees through the creation of custom Valentine’s gifts.
