Owner Reveals Only Thing That Wakes Sleeping Dog: ‘She Knows’ [Video]

Waking a sleeping dog can prove difficult at times, but one owner has left social media in hysterics by showing the one thing he knows will wake his dog up—and it works every single time.

As a guitarist and DJ, Adrian Joseph is used to coming home when everyone is already in bed, including his Staffordshire bull terrier, Jessie. But if there’s one trick he knows will get her out of bed, it’s opening the container he uses to store cheese in the fridge. As soon as she hears the box unclick, she immediately comes running downstairs.

Joseph, of Sydney, told Newsweek that “nothing else comes close” to getting her attention as much as a mouthful of cheddar. When her family returns home, she barely opens an eye, but if she gets a whiff of cheese, she’s instantly awake.
