An Orchard Park hardware store announced on Monday that after 117 years of business, they will permanently close in February of 2025.
ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — A local hardware store in Orchard Park shared the sad news on Monday, Nov. 4 that they will be closing their doors for good in the new year.
In a post made to W. G. Arthur Co. (Arthur’s Hardware and Home furnishings) Facebook page they wrote that after 117 years in business, they will close on Feb. 1 2025.
The post’s caption said the following:
“It is with the deepest regret to inform you that Arthur’s Hardware and Arthur’s Home Furnishings will be going out of business effective February 1, 2025.
W.G. Arthur Co., Inc. has been a mainstay of the Village of Orchard Park for over 117 years. When I purchased the company from Tom Morrow, William G. Arthur’s late grandson, it was our intent to continue operating the business for …
