ORLANDO, Fl – Hurricane Milton is moving off the east coast of Florida after leaving severe flooding and wind damage in parts of Orange County. Now officials are in full swing responding to rescues throughout the county.
Hambleton Ave Rescue
A family of four was rescued from a home and were transported to a shelter by Orange County Fire Rescue.
Orange County Fire Rescue shared this video of the water rescue on their X (formerly Twitter) account Thursday morning.
This rescue took place on Hambleton Avenue in the Edgewater and Winter Park area.
Buck Road Rescue
Orange County Fire Rescue and Orange County Sheriff’s Office took to the flooded roads of an Orlando neighborhood.
Crews checked every home in the area of Riverdale road and Buck road as they experienced severe flooding from Hurricane Milton.
