OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – At Church on Purpose, faith leaders are following their life mission to help those in need.
On Saturday, they welcomed different community organizations and businesses to share resources with new homebuyers.
“Really from beginning to end, from pre-purchase part of the journey to learning what it takes to own a home,” Chapman said. “Then getting connected to the lenders and the mortgage providers.”
Church on Purpose pastor Jonathan Chapman told 6 News this is the first time the church has ever held an event like this.
He also said their goal is to help fill the homeownership gap in the metro and believes one of the reasons for that gap is the lack of information some may have when they’re interested in buying a home.
