FRANKFORT, Ky. — Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear announced Friday he will be speaking at the “World Economic Forum” in Switzerland in January 2025.
Beshear accepted an invitation to share Kentucky’s economic successes at a global event that bring together business, government and academic leaders in an effort to improve the state of the world.
Gov. Beshear says he plans on highlighting Kentucky’s record economic momentum as well as its place as a national leader in the manufacturing, automotive, electric vehicle and battery sectors.
The World Economic Forum’s 2025 Annual Meeting will be held Jan. 20-24 in Davos, Switzerland. Beshear and a delegation from team Kentucky will travel there in person.
