International conference underway in City of Anderson [Video]

Leaders and innovators from around the world are in Anderson for a major international conference. This week, the City of Anderson is hosting the fourth conference of the International Network of Michelin Cities (INMC.)The INMC was established by Mayor Olivier Bianchi of the City of Clermont-Ferrand, France. Clermont-Ferrand is home to the International Headquarters of Michelin.It was formed to “strengthen the international exchanges that exist, thanks to the presence of the Michelin factory, between cities located around the world.”This is the first year the United States has hosted the INMC conference. “I hope what it does is connect some of the people from around the world to some of our business people, and not only business but from the arts to education– just making a connection,” said Anderson Mayor Terence Roberts. “I think it’s an economic driver not only for the City of Anderson and Upstate, South Carolina, but also …
