OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Fire crews responded to a house fire in southwest Oklahoma City Thursday morning.
According to the Oklahoma City Fire Department, firefighters responded to a home near SW 44th St. and May Ave. around 2 a.m.

Upon arrival, crews found flames coming from the home and decided to evacuate homes nearby.
“Approximately 50 percent of the structure was on fire when we arrived. Our crews immediately went to work,” said Batt. Chief Paul Nash with OKCFD. “Did a great job protecting the houses both to the west and to the east.”
No injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
