SPRING HILL, Tenn. (WSMV) – Three animals were safely pulled from an apartment fire in Williamson County that they may have started, according to the Spring Hill Fire Department.
Fire crews were dispatched to the Worthington Glen Apartments on Monday morning and arrived to find a third-floor unit on fire. The residents were not home but their two cats and dog were inside, prompting a swift response from firefighters.
The animals were safely evacuated, and the fire was quickly extinguished. Spring Hill Fire said the apartment’s sprinkler system played an effective role in putting out the fire but caused extensive damage to the lower units. They said roughly $150,000 worth of damage was left by the fire.
