The fire started in an RV early Saturday morning.
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — No one was injured in a fire early Saturday morning in the 5100 block of Westerly Drive in Virginia Beach.
Crews were dispatched at 3:24 a.m. to the reported fire. When they arrived at 3:28, they found a fully-involved RV parked between two structures.
No one was in the RV at the time of the fire, and the residents had evacuated their home. The fire did not extend to the primary residence; however, the neighboring home next to the RV sustained damage from both smoke and water. No one was home there, but the residents are displaced due to the extent of the damage.
There were no injuries to civilians, firefighters, or pets. The origin and cause are under investigation.
