NIXA, Mo. (KY3)—A Nixa family is looking for answers and trying to track down a valuable bike in their garage.
This happened on Oct. 3, around 4:15 p.m., at a home on Pinhook Drive. The garage door was open, and the kids were outside playing.
“It’s a fairly special bike, especially to me,” said David Reno. “I used that bike to get back and forth from work when I didn’t have a car, you. I’ve had that bike for a long time.”
According to Reno, video from a neighbor’s house captured footage of the alleged thief riding the bike through the neighborhood. The bike is a 2019 specialized Stumpjumper competition. And more than that, it has sentimental value for Reno and his family.
