OLMOS PARK, Texas — A business associate of Brad Simpson, whose wife, Suzanne Simpson, has been missing for more than two weeks, has been arrested on a charge of tampering with evidence.
DPS said Tuesday the Texas Rangers and Olmos Park police arrested James Vallee Cotter at his home Monday. It was later revealed, in documents obtained by KENS 5, that he hid an unregistered AK-47 for Brad as law enforcement was zeroing in on him in the days after his wife’s disappearance.
That gun was found in the walls of Cotter’s San Antonio home Monday, when authorities executed a search warrant.
