Author and entrepreneur Larry Johnson says hes grateful to Green Bay for his second chance [Video]

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Author and entrepreneur Larry Johnson said it was Green Bay that allowed him to follow his passion, support his family, and move forward after serving time.

Now, he wants to pay it forward by inspiring others facing challenges, especially young men who might be tempted by the criminal element on the streets.

“You can talk to kids if they want to listen,” he told Local 5 News from his home base in Green Bay. “I have a story that you can grow from.”

He already has two published books, with a third one on the way, influenced by some of his own experiences growing up in Milwaukee. His stories lament the criminal influence on children in communities where there is little investment.
