Rescue crews at the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station in Kodiak have been very busy lately. Coast Guard crews rescued two hikers from Pasagshak Point cliffside in Kodiak, Alaska. One hiker fell down the cliff. The guard’s helicopter arrived and was able to lift both hikers to safety. The Coast Guard from Kodiak also helped a cruise ship passenger in need of medical care. The crew hoisted the passenger from the cruise ship north of Utqiagvik, and then flew the patient to Fairbanks for a higher level of treatment.
