A stolen car leads to a pet owners worst nightmare [Video]

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Lynn Bugg went to the Fresh Market in Midtown on Thursday for some groceries and had her car stolen with her dog Yoshi inside, and now she has no idea where he is.

“We have to be fearful every time we go outside and get in our car and go anywhere,” Bugg said.

Bugg’s black 2013 Infinity G-37 was swiped from the lot at around 5 p.m. when she was just grabbing a couple of things.

The Memphis Police Department arrested Freddy Najil Friday afternoon in connection with the bank robbery in her vehicle but there was no sign of the dog.

Bugg heard last night from investigators that Najil apparently found the car in Whitehaven and that he stole it from there meaning he has no idea where the dog is.
