A national furniture retailer is closing all of its stores, including locations in Upstate New York.
American Freight Furniture and Mattress, a discount furniture and mattress chain, has commenced store closing sales at all of its 328 locations and online, Hilco Consumer-Retail announced last week. The company has six stores in New York state, including in Albany, Clay, Horseheads, North Tonawanda (near Buffalo), Rochester and Syracuse.
“GOING OUT OF BUSINESS,” American Freight’s Syracuse location said Monday on Facebook. “Everything must go–All our retail locations across the country are closing! Now’s your chance to grab furniture, appliances, and more at up to 30% OFF the lowest ticketed price. Don’t miss out on these incredible savings before they’re gone for good.”
A new Facebook post Thursday said some merchandise is now being discounted up to 40% off.
