Two Burkburnett ISD student essays to be published [Video]

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – Two students from Burkburnett High School’s Student 2 Student program will have their essays published in the On The Move magazine.

This opportunity provided by the Military Child Education Coalition, asked the two students to asked to write an essay about what “home for the holiday” meant for them.

While some may associate the word “holiday” with the holiday season. The students centered their essay around a military service member in their family.

The two students, Emily Antonio and Stephen Bradbury said the opportunity was a ‘blessing.’

Serving as a chance for these students to share their work through the military child education coalition, they were asked to write about their lives while being in a military family.
