Strictly Come Dancing star Dr Punam Krishan has returned back to work at Morning Live just days after her exit from the BBC competition.

The 41-year-old GP returned to her day job on Friday (Novemebr 1) as she appeared on the BBC One morning show alongside hosts Gethin Jones and Rav Wilding, who welcomed her back to the show by showing a trailer of her best bits.

Speaking upon her return to Morning Live, Punam said: “Why did you need to that? That was really emotional to watch that back. I’ve still not processed all of it.”

“I’m really grateful. I’d say the person I bonded with the most was Sarah Hadland. She’s just unbelievable. she works so hard and I just adore that girl.”

“I love Chris McCausland. We’d just sit there and put the worlds to right. I will be back watching from the sofa this weekend which I’ve been doing the last 20 years.”
