POLICE TELL US THAT JORDAN TREVION SWEENEY WAS TAKEN INTO CUSTODY IN GREENVILLE COUNT

The Laurens Police Department announced the arrest of an “armed and dangerous” kidnapping suspect. The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office said the kidnapping happened in the city of Laurens around 10:30 a.m. Oct. 19. Laurens police said officers were dispatched to a home within city limits regarding a reported kidnapping. When officers arrived, they confirmed a violent abduction occurred, involving multiple handguns and threats to the lives of multiple victims.According to officials, 26-year-old Jordan Trevion Sweeney forcibly abducted a woman from the front yard of the home before fleeing the area.
