KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Tamara Smith, a Kansas City grandmother says she was sitting in her home when three people, two of which were armed, broke in.
“They were wrong, they had no business coming into my house,” she said.
Smith wants the thieves to be held accountable to the fullest extent of the law.
“I said could you either please calm down or at least remove the clip from the gun and from that point on, it escalated,” Smith explained.

This all happened Saturday, September 21, otherwise a completely normal weekend day for Smith. She says she was simply hanging out at home and getting things done around the house.
However, it quickly became abnormal and quite a terrifying encounter would follow.
