A Katy-area woman told KHOU 11 News that she wants other nearby homeowners to be on the lookout after a traumatizing burglary left her dog with a bullet wound.
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — A Katy-area homeowner told KHOU 11 News she’s traumatized after burglars shot her dog and ransacked her home in the Sundown neighborhood. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office has launched an investigation into the case.
“I’m still scared to death, I’m scared to be in my house, scared to leave the house,” Barbara George said.
George said the incident happened last Thursday while she was at work, though she may have spotted the suspects earlier that day.
“I was driving to work around 5:30 a.m. and I noticed two males up the street and I had a bad feeling about it but I just kept going,” she said.
