A much-loved Cape Town market is battling to fight off a public scandal after a video was circulated widely online at the weekend.

The video depicts a group of patrons at a table, with one of the men using a bank card to line up a white substance into five rows.

“I simply found the behaviour disturbing as the establishment is family-friendly, ” an eyewitness, Kiki Ngubelanga, told News24.
