OZARK, Ala (WDHN) — An Ozark man will face charges after investigators claimed he set fire to a house while out on bond from a separate arson in the spring.
Leo Kilow was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with one count of arson in the second degree.
Ozark Deputy Police Chief Michael Bryan said the home on Northwood Drive in Ozark caught fire Wednesday morning and sustained “significant” damage, with half of the home burnt and the other half heavily damaged by water.
Despite the damage, no one was injured in the fire.
Deputy Chief Bryan said investigators detained and began questioning Kilow Wednesday morning, shortly after the fire.
Court records claim Kilow was arrested nearly five months ago and charged with separate arson. He was released on bond soon after his first arrest.
