1 hospitalized, 8 displaced after Omaha apartment fire [Video]

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – One person is injured and eight others are without a home after a fire in an Omaha apartment.

Crews were called to the area of 137th and Harrison, near Millard, at about 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The Omaha Fire Department says that crews found the fire coming from the back of the building and put it out quickly.

We are told that the victim’s injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

An investigation has started into the cause of the fire.
