NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Xavier University of Louisiana presents its students with an opportunity to learn more about the world of entrepreneurship.
XULA leaders say the Entrepreneurship Institute at XULA aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills needed in entrepreneurship, as well as serving as an entrepreneurial hub by supplying mentorship, connections, resources and coaching.

The Entrepreneurship Institute is partnering with a nonprofit, Entrepreneurship for Everyone, to host Rising Stars: HBCU Entrepreneurship Summit.
The event takes place from Friday, March 8 to Sunday, March 10 on XULA’s campus. The summit is open to Xavier students, alumni, faculty, staff and others in the HBCU community.
