CLINTON, CT (WFSB) – A worker died on Monday morning after falling from the roof of a home in Clinton.
Clinton police confirmed that the incident occurred at 13 Fox Hill Drive before 8:30 a.m.
Authorities closed off the area with caution tape, and the road in front of the residence was closed.
According to reports, the 37-year-old worker sustained severe injuries from the fall.
Despite life-saving efforts by emergency personnel, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sgt. Spencer Mangs from Clinton police said, “Anytime there’s a family in a tragedy like this there is always a family grieving who has lot of questions and that is our job as a police department to answer those questions and provide them with whatever comfort they may need during this time of sorrow.”
