MONTAGUE, MI – As power outages subside across Muskegon County after a severe thunderstorm, many residents are in need of water.

Resident in Montague can get free water and ice cream at two Consumers Energy events on Thursday, June 27.

Free water will be given out from 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Montague Foods Parking Lot, 8718 Water Street.

A free single small cone or scoop of ice cream will be given out during the same times at Twisters Ice Cream, 8688 Water Street.

Consumers provided residents in the city of Muskegon with free water and shaved ice Wednesday.
