Warren said he ‘felt great’ at practice Wednesday [Video]

PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Out the last couple of games, Jaylen Warren said he ‘felt great’ at practice on Wednesday.

The third-year Steelers tailback is working his way back from a knee injury suffered during the Chargers game on September 22. It’s not that he immediately admitted to the injury which is a part of who Warren is. He’s the undrafted tailback who will do anything to stay on a field.

He recalled when head coach Mike Tomlin pulled him out of the home opener a few weeks ago.

“I came off limping,” Warren said. “He pulled me out. I’m like ‘no, no, no, I promise I’m good.’ Everybody could see it. I just wanted to keep playing. He’s just looking out for my best interest.Players coach and I appreciate what he did.”
