STOCKTON, Calif. — A Stockton family is reeling after their home was broken into and burglarized minutes after they left.
“This is very traumatizing, and now our family, we don’t even want to step out of the house anymore,” a family member said.
The family spoke with ABC10, but requested anonymity due to the break-in. A family member told ABC10 that her mother had left the house with the kids minutes before the break-in to pick her up from work Monday evening.
While making another stop on the way back home, they got a notification from their doorbell camera that someone rang the doorbell. At first, she said they didn’t see anything, but then, another camera angle showed masked men with guns stealing from their home.
