RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Verizon customers from all over the nation had trouble connecting to the company’s cellular network Monday.
According to Downdetector, an online outage tracker, at around 10 a.m., more than 100,000 Verizon customers nationwide were affected by the outage.
Many Verizon users in KOTA Territory flooded into stores, all with the same complaints—saying their phones had no service and were in SOS mode.
Bill Groves, a frustrated Verizon customer, says this outage has made doing business with his clients nearly impossible.
“This has disrupted their schedule today and mine, so hopefully Verizon will reimburse me for their lack of falling on the road, and I must say I’m considering finding a different phone provider,” Groves said.
Many Verizon customers did get service back late until Monday afternoon.
