UNIVERSITY CITY, Mo. — A mother of four is fighting for answers after she says her cars were towed straight out of her driveway with no warning.
For Keyanna Dorsey, life is all about her family. Raising her kids and a one-year-old grandson, she works tirelessly to hold everything together. Now, she says the city she calls home is tearing it all apart.
“I’m still in the dark,” said Dorsey, a University City resident.
A few months ago, she said University City police and a nearby towing company showed up unannounced at her home, without warning. She said they towed two of her cars from her driveway, damaging her other car in the process.
“They just dropped it,” she said.
The city denies damaging her other car. But the whole ordeal has left her with an avalanche of unanswered questions.
