ULM Honors Program receives two national awards [Video]

MONROE, La. (KNOE) – The University of Louisiana Monroe was recognized with two awards at Pathways 2024.

Pathways is a national student success conference held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from July 24 to 26. Both awards were given to the FLIGHT program, a curriculum that requires students to master seven competencies essential to professional, personal, and social growth. FLIGHT stands for Forging Leaders, Inspiring Growth, and Harnessing Talent.

The university says the program is important as students who are active outside the classroom develop important practical and relational skills that are valuable to employers and advanced degree programs.

The awards were given for Highest Engagement and Outstanding New Program.
