Twin sisters both work in same ICU at Indiana children’s hospital | News from WDRB [Video]

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Twin sisters in Indiana are both nurses in the Intensive Care Unit at Riley Hospital For Children in Indianapolis.

Hannah and Emma James care for babies with congenital heart defects, a tough job they’re doing together.

“Sometimes, the car ride home, we don’t talk at all,” Hannah James said. “Sometimes, we vent about our days, because, sometimes, you just have to talk about it. And sometimes, it’s not easy.

“We have very different personalities. It’s two different outlooks on the situation. … We make a good balance. We bring out the best qualities in each other. Push you to be a little more bold, and you push me to be a little more soft.”

The twins may share the same job, but now, their lives are going in different directions. Emma James is getting married soon, and Hannah James is getting her own place to live.
