SALT LAKE CITY — On Friday, a Utah small business was striving to make a positive difference with a percentage of sales going toward support for the California wildfires.
On Friday, all five of Thirst’s locations will be donating 10 percent of proceeds to go toward the Red Cross’ direct outreach in fighting the California wildfires.
“Everyone’s affected by this,” said Emery Jensen, a manager at Thirst.
Utahns have seen the heart-wrenching photos, videos and stories coming out of California and want to do something.
Thirst, a small Utah business, is making a big difference.
“The more money we can get here, the more it goes out to helping the other communities,” Jensen said.
Customers like Avery Larsen know their favorite drink order is going toward something bigger.
