The company launched in 1999 and purchased by Carolyn Hennen and Jeff Hennen in 2012. Carolyn Hennen said from 2020 to 2023, The Rag Company almost tripled its revenue. A big part of this growth is its in-house media that educates customers as well as Amazon.

“We have our own retail website. We have wholesale and distributors, again, across the country and around the world, we keep growing into different countries, and that helps immensely,” Hennen said. “But Amazon has also been a big part of our growth, and it has taken off like a freight train.”
