The One Show viewers were offered an urgent warning from Welsh host Alex Jones as she said: “Prepare yourselves.”
Alex said: “Now we love featuring stories on The One Show about people who do incredible things for others.” As Roman chimed in: “Here’s a truly heartwarming story of a group of volunteers who provide closure when things are left unfinished.”
Alex then went on to warn: “But I would prepare yourself, because it’s a bit of an emotional ride, isn’t it, this one?”
During the heartbreaking segment introduced by Alex and her co-host Roman Kemp, the show looked at the work of volunteer group Loose Ends, which aims to complete craft projects left unfinished by people who have sadly passed away or become unable to finish due to disability.
