The Nations flourishes with new residents, businesses while long-term residents feel squeeze of rising prices [Video]

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The bustling intersection of 51st Avenue North and Centennial Boulevard in The Nations is home to several local businesses that weren’t here a decade ago.

The neighborhood used to be full of factories, and its landmark silo was an operational part of Gillette Grain Company. The Nations experienced a rapid shift from its industrial past during the recovery from the 2010 flood.
